Special Features
Brighto Granstone is a water based high build granite coating based on carefully selected colored aggregate bound in a proprietary Brighto Polymeric Binder. When applied correctly, Brighto Granstone will produce a natural granite finish. Brighto Granstone may be applied as a single or multiple color system application with a wide variety of color and texture possibilities. The properties of Brighto Granstone may be further enhanced by the application of a Brighto Super Glaze Coat.
Product Uses and Application
Brighto Granstone may be used internally and externally to a variety of suitably prepared and primed substrates. The primer should be tinted to the color of the overall aggregate color finish. Brighto Granstone is applied with a Hopper Spray Gun. Brighto Granstone is supplied ready for use. The coating should never be applied during adverse weather conditions, or on wet surfaces. Even if the weather seems fit for painting, there may be condensation if the temperature of the substrate is at or below the dew point (temperature at which the atmospheric humidity condenses e.g. as dew) Brighto Granstone should only be applied when the temperature of the substrate is at least 2 ºC above dew point. In hot climates, the coating should be applied during the morning and late afternoon hours and if possible away from direct sunlight.
